A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Its loveliness increases,
It will never pass into nothingness.

The boutique is a quaint and insightful place for both the
novice and accomplished crocheter. During your visit, receive nurturing
encouragement, general information and view many skillfully executed displays
in the galleries. Original patterns, and some long time favorites, handed
down for generations will be offered as well. Whatever the reason for your
visit, I anticipate that something of interest will ignite your curiosity
and creativity.
Crochet is one of the oldest and most beautiful crafts still
practiced to date. A vast array of decorative and practical items can be
created by simply mastering and implementing a few basic stitches and techniques.
Also required are patience and practice. The end result being unique crocheted
pieces that add warmth and comfort to your life. There is nothing more pleasing
to the eye and heart than a lovingly hand-stitched masterpiece.
Two of my many interests include doll collecting and history
- the two nicely commingling. You'll notice much emphasis placed on elegantly
detailed period costumes sized to fit 13 and 15 inch dolls. Featured will
be a variety of crocheted reproductions from published designers sharing
their creativity and expertise, along with a few of my interpretations of
the glamorous women of yesteryear.
As you feast your eyes upon stunning dolls, donning their finest
gowns, embellished with feminine frills and trims, relive the romance and
charm of days gone by. The beauties showcased will definitely be a delightful
treat for the discriminating doll lover. Feel welcome to take a leisurely
stroll through the Crochet Boutique and visit often.
